Living in Berlin for 2 years, Cody Currie, grew up in London in the 90s. After several releases on upcoming record labels in 2016 and 2017, he signed in 2018 Movin’ Smoke, a touching jazzier-side-of-house EP on the excellent Razor’N’Tape label which revealed this rough diamond to the scene.

Better known in the past for his languid house tracks, he has in his bag a complete range of production styles, which we let you discover in live. Known as one of the upcoming artists of the UK house scene and jazz vibe, each of his production is making noise over the euro-scene when revealed. Cumulating millions of views on YouTube, his re-jazz version ofMF Doom-Devil's Shoestring, is about to reach the 1 M plays alone.

In 2019 he confirmed the great expectations. Starting an innovative collaboration in the studio, as in live with jazz pianist Joel Holmes, Cody signed with his compere an EP on famous German record label Toy Tonics, called “New Chapter”, followed by another one,“Metropolis”. Piece by piece, Cody's sound slowly matured. This let him release another brilliant 4 tracks EP onToy Tonics featuring the vocalist, Eliza Rose. “Moves”quickly shook the modern musical ecosystem, as the released got featured on Rolling Stones.

Over the years, Cody’s process evolved into an instrumental journey. He plays the keys and enjoys singing on his tracks or collaborating with major artists, such as the American. pianist Joel Holmes or the Australian drummer Ziggy Zeitgeist. His debut solo album is planned for early 2022on Toy Tonics.

UK also still cherish their lad, as Cody released a 4 tracks EP on Dan Shake’s label “Shakes”in July 2021, again with Eliza, reviving the “Flame”. Even during the tough pandemic era, he played in 2021 in some of the best clubs inEurope, in the name of Funkhause (Berlin), Nitsa (Barcelona), Phonox (London), Label leviloise (Paris), and more..
