Kassian is an exploration in House, Techno and Electronica fronted by Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers.

Forming officially in 2019 the title track on their debut EP ‘The Premise’ on Detroit Swindle’s Heist Recordings was nominated as Track Of The Year at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards. The pair then formed a lasting relationship with legendary London record label and store Phonica Records, joining an esteemed selection of artists including Peggy Gou and Midland who have released multiple EP’s on the 'Phonica White' label. By the end of 2020 Kassian self-released their ‘Versions’ series, a vinyl only edits label which debuted at no. 6 in Phonica’s Top-10 Singles of the Year with multiple represses since.

Having carved out an esteemed path releasing on notable labels Kassian and are now pushing their sound through the vessel of their 2022 imprint 'Faux Poly' established in their '38East' studio progressing their sound with a heavier, hardware focus creating a new outlet for themselves and other artists. The debut EP 'Chance is Our Greatest Ally' was released early 2022 to an acclaimed reception setting the foundation for the label and kicking off an event series with Percolate.

Kassian's credentials as well-informed selectors has been cultivated out of their monthly residency at independent radio station Balamii Radio via their hugely popular show every third Wednesday of the month with guests such as MR.G, Cinthie, Dam Swindle, Laurence Guy, Tereza & more.
